We have 13 offices across Victoria and New South Wales and employ over 400 staff.
We are seeking an experienced or Senior Project Managerto join the PM team at our Western Sydney Office in Oran Park. One of the main criteria in securing this position will be a minimum of 6 years’ Land Development experience.
The duties for the successful Project Manager will be directly responsible for as outlined below:
Project Scope
- Meet with Client/Project Director to gather information
- Develop draft scope
- Meet with BW managers and external parties to refine scope and create fee proposal
- Present fee proposal to the Client/Project Director
Project Manage
- Attend and administer at team project meetings
- Assist in developing an overall project program
- Monitor program, address performance issues and keep Client informed
- Identify risks and actively manage
- Monitor budgets and work with staff/managers to control
- Manage clients’ expectations
- Ensure work undertaken by other departments is completed within required timeframes
- Complete necessary forms to manage time frames for authorities
- Update scope as required
- Negotiate variations with the Client
- Issue plans, comps, etc. to all parties
Contract Manage
- Assist and negotiate project contracts (This applies to authorities, consultants and contractors)
- Acts as the superintendent of the contracts with technical assistance from other divisions
Review
- Plans, comps, etc. provided by each division to the after complete QA check
- Develop project specific check lists based on Client needs, planning permit and any other requirements
- Review plans, comps, etc. against all items on the project checklist
