Job description:
With the rapid expansion of our business, the opportunity has arisen for experienced Senior Leading Hand Plumber, Project Manager, Operations Manager and Commercial Plumbing Tradesman to join our team. These roles are all Sydney based.
Opportunity
Due to continued growth and strong pipeline of Commercial projects across Sydney, we are on the lookout for experienced Construction Plumbing staff to join our Sydney NSW team. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will lead our crew delivering high quality Commercial Construction Plumbing across a range of projects.
Responsibilities/Job Requirements include:
PLUMBING PROJECT MANAGER
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the capacity to evaluate project needs, foresee potential challenges, and devise innovative solutions.
- Management & quote on the job, compliance - safety/ client discussions/ work procedures/ invoicing
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proven experience in procurement, cost control, and budget management for Plumbing Projects.
- Capability to establish and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize hydraulic system designs, resolve design-related issues and oversee the implementation of design changes and updates within larger construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
LEADING HAND
- Day to day running of job site
- Reporting to management any information written or verbal from other trades or site management
- Liaise with site staff to ensure the smooth running of the project
- Completion of testing reports and submissions for management as required.
- Procurement and providing all suppliers the relevant purchase orders.
- Minimum 5 years Plumbing experience
- Qualified Plumber, NSW Plumbing Licence preferable but not essential
CONSTRUCTION PLUMBERS (COMMERCIAL)
- We are looking for a full time qualified plumbers
- You must have your own tools, vehicle & white card
- Immediate start
- Sound commercial plumbing knowledge with the ability to diagnose and rectify plumbing and drainage faults.
- A self starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
About You and Selection Criteria (all roles)
You must be reliable, motivated, result orientated and have proven experience in Civil plumbing (Sydney Water projects). Your ability to communicate and influence desirable outcomes are natural skills you possess while attention to detail and a keen eye for process improvement is at the forefront of your capabilities.
- Qualified Plumber
- Drivers licence essential
- Experience in Subdivisions an advantage
- Good work ethic and positive work attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong team player who is happy to offer support when required
- Ability to problem solve
- Understanding of plans/designs
