Civil Roads Project Manager - Mackay Region

We are currently tendering for Civil Project Managers for the Mackay region interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignment for an initial period of approximately 12 months with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects.
 
This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager(or a Site Engineer / Project Engineer to step into the role).

Mandatory Requirements
You would require at least 5 - 10+ years of road construction and maintenance delivery experience working on DTMR or any other Australian Road Authority controlled project either directly with DTMR (or indirectly with a Construction Consultant).

• Exposure to & understanding of TMR policies, standards & specifications;
• Experience with various types of contracts through TMR or similar clients
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;
• Excellent written / verbal communications skills;
• Well developed organising /problem solving skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Committed to HSE & QA Policies & procedures;
• Team player with leadership attributes;
• Computer literacy, in established industry programs;
• Experience with SAP, P6 or similar tools of trade for the specific role;
• Experience with Quality Management systems such as Civilpro;
• Excellent experience with Project Management systems.

A valid driver's licence & own mobile phone.
A Construction Industry White Card.

The role is proposed to be a min of 38hrs p/wk over 5 days & may include some work over a weekend every fortnight, pending project requirements.
The roles are Mackay based, however some work away in regional or remote locations will be required depending on requirements, where accommodation will be provided.
 
As a result of the Client requirements for existing knowledge & experience with Australian Road Construction Standards, you must have already worked in Australia, have the right to work in Australia & already be living here to be considered.

Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
A Bachelors Degree in Technology (Civil)
or other suitable qualifications, may be considered if you meet the mandatory experience criteria.
