AddressDavbridge Constructions is a family-owned civil contracting specialist with over 30 years experience in the civil construction industry. We specialise in bridge structures, piling, civil earthworks, roads, and complex concrete structures.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking motivated Project Managers to join our team in bridge and civil construction. We have multiple projects starting and on the go in locations around Queensland and NSW. We are a diverse and flexible employer, offering long term career opportunities for our employees with opportunity for both local and away works.
As a potential candidate, you should have the following attributes:
- Civil Engineering Degree or Construction Management Degree
- Experience in communicating with the Client and site staff alike
- Understanding of HSEQ Management Systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
- Current unrestricted Drivers Licence and a White/Blue card.
- Willing to work away on a FIFO roster.
The following attributes are favourable:
- Prior experience in a construction role
- Prior experience with bridge and concrete structures
- Knowledge and understanding of TMR specifications or similar.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a project team to deliver the projects safely and efficiently
- Managing project activities and work scope
- Liaising with project stakeholders
- Managing plant, labour and materials resources
- Monitoring monthly forecasts with regards to program and costs
- Ensuring all works are carried out in compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Effective management of suppliers and subcontractors.
