Senior Project Manager | Civil

The Company:
Stellar Recruitments Civil Division is partnering with a respected Asset Owner who own and operate a large portfolio of assets that significantly contribute to driving clean, renewable and low-emission energy across the state of Queensland. Due to severe cyclone damage, there is a major project commencing in the Cairns region to get this facility back up and running. From that, they have an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager – Civil to join the team on a long term contract arrangement to deliver this project from start to finish.
  
The Role:
This role will see you project based in the Cairns Region, where you will lead and drive the project from early stages right through to completion. This project comes with its complexities to include weirs and dams, structures and earthworks. This is a hands-on role where you will be given the autonomy to lead and manage the project whilst being supported by and experienced and established leadership team. This is a site based role and whilst Cairns location is preferred, travel arrangements can be discussed candidate dependent.
  
The Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing end to end projects.
• Experience delivering scope across earthworks, structures and marine infrastructure.
• Ability to manage project teams, programs, budgets and safety.
• Effective stakeholder management both internal and external.
• A team player who wants positive project outcomes.
