Form of workCurrently, I am working closely with one of the fastest growing civil contractors within Queensland who have a variety of projects covering almost all civil scope of works.
These specific roles demands eager and adaptive Site Engineers who is willing to work regionally on a flexible roster with the ability to work with a well-established and capable team.
This opportunity allows you to be a part of Queensland's population and infrastructure growth
Duties will include:
- Working Closely with Project Manager and Site Supervisor assisting with major civil projects
- Management of subcontractors and construction delivery
- Scope of works -Bulk Earthworks, Road / Pavement constructions anf Flood Restoration - Stabilisation Works
- Ensuring all site activities and operational delivery is performed in accordance with HSE legislation
- Planning, scheduling, and budgeting, as well as progress and cost reporting
- Quality Assurance of construction delivery
- Procurement
The job requirements are:
- degree Civil Engineering
- degree qualified Civil Engineering
- Minimum 1+ years Project Engineer experience
- Bulk Earthworks - full 360 experience of bulk earthworks TMR / Flood Restoration
- Pavement works / Intersection finishing Pavement works
- Bulk Earthworks Roadworks, Services, Drainage
- Awareness and manitain of compliance and safety
- Understanding and experience in self performing and sub contract works
- Be able to cost and plan works
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have local experience
