The Opportunity:
We are assisting one of Australia's top civil contractors in finding civil engineers of all levels to deliver the next stage of mega infrastructure projects in Queensland. Experience in TMR, Drainage & Structures will stand you in good stead of being consider for this role.
You will be accountable for:
- Contributing to a culture of 'Safety & Health above all else
- Liaising with construction teams across the project as well as subcontractors to deliver works in accordance with project specifications and in accordance with set production and schedule targets
- Development and management of daily cost reporting
- Managing the procurement of materials which meet project specifications and program timeframes
- Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the work of subcontractors;
- Monitoring key project requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications
- Ensuring that relevant stakeholders requirements are met by building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships
- Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.
- Working closely with your team in a productive manner and being the driving force to get the job done
The Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline
- Previous experience in the civil construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast paced project environment and deliver on deadlines
- Hold proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Focus and commitment to a zero harm environment
