My client are the best in their business at what they do. Projects state wide. Working on large infrastructure projects. Due to growth and the award of a recent projects an opportunity has arisen.
Initial projects are East based around major highways and level crossings.
Our client has a strong project port folio, a fantastic client base, and repeat business. Our client is looking for a experienced Civil Site Engineer to help deliver small civil / structure type projects up to $100k- $5m.
Attitude is everything, enthusiasm, communication, drive and attitude. Ability and proven experience in delivering similar civil projects around that $100k- $5m. Experience working for a Tier 1 or as a sub contractor to a Tier 1 is essential. Minimum of 3 years experience.
This role will be site based, across various projects in Melbourne. Site environment experience is essential. Its a great opportunity to work on major projects and learn everything that is involved in such a project that will give you the skills to enhance your career.
Local Australian experience is essential, due to knowing the local standards. This will not be overlooked. You will have worked with a recognised civil contractor or builder, Tier 2 or 3. You may have worked on roads, rail, commercial, industrial buildings projects for example. As previously mentioned, experience as a subcontractor is essential.
Your new role
The role is to assist an experienced Project Manager, manage and coordinate site duties efficiently,, safely and within budget. You will assist with driving crews and subcontractors getting construction activity running smoothly. You will be reporting to a Tier 1 builder so understanding this role and environment is critical.
