Civil Site Leading Hand

Currently seeking experienced Civil Site Leading Hand for work around Adelaide and SA, (potentially FIFO opportunities too - ex Adelaide Airport only).

Working closely with Site Manager, Project Managers, Supervisors and construction teams on various project sites, the Civil Site Leading Hand will support and motivate working teams to ensure high quality project delivery through coordinating site activities and site workers.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Support supervisor with site works, site personnel and subcontractors
• Work closely with Project Team to ensure compliance with company and client requirements
• Support managing site resources and ensure project has sufficient coverage
• Support tool box meetings and mentor staff on project sites
• Support safety inspections and implement quality control procedures including assessing and managing risks
• Support Supervisors to ensure safe systems of work to meet WHSEQ compliance requirements

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

• Previous civil construction industry experience gained to site Leading Hand level
• Previous experience with roadworks would be advantageous
• Flexibility to work rural SA / interstate as required
• Construction trade qualified
• Hold current First Aid accreditation
• Current Driver's License
• Current Police Record and ability to obtain DCSI clearance
