Civil Stakeholder Engagement Officer

BTR Excavations is currently seeking a motivated Civil Stakeholder Manager to join our Civil Projects team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing our team of onsite contractors on a day-to-day basis. This current project is for a major waste water main upgrade in the North Eastern suburbs of Adelaide. Resident contact along with client liaison will contribute towards its successful delivery. 

This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who can deliver positive client outcomes, and a skill for effective Stakeholder Engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Sub-Contractor monitoring and site supervision for practical completion of works with our on-property plumbing, electrical and restoration teams.
• Build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with key stakeholders. 
• Liaise with our team and residents to appropriately manage the program of works and reinstatement of sites.
• Maintain reporting systems to ensure timeliness, accuracy of all management information systems.
• Undertake necessary scheduling of work alongside the Project Manager to ensure that weekly and monthly production targets are achieved.
• Ensure the standard of all work in the field is of a high quality and in accordance with work practices and standards required by our client and our company.

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of waste water and/or water main utilities. 
• Be knowledgeable across most aspects of domestic plumbing. 
• Proven experience in community and/or Stakeholder Engagement.
• Must possess a strong aptitude for effective leadership, with a commitment to positively influence others. You will have an innate skill to build rapport with others. 
• High level of organisation with ability to forward think, plan and problem solve.  
• Excellent communication skills 
• Must be able to work autonomously or within a team.
• Working with database platforms (SimPRO & Safety Culture). 
• Current unrestricted SA drivers’ license.
• Current White Card.
