Our client, Access 2 Place (A2P), is a not-for-profit disability community housing provider registered to provide Specialist Disability Accommodation under the NDIS. The Role
The Asset & Property Officer position is responsible for all property, fleet and asset management including generalised administration support to all departments. The role is responsible for maintaining the standard of our properties and working with clients and tenants to ensure that tenancies are sustainable, well managed and compliant with all relevant regulations and requirements. It will also support property development through effective client and builder liaison to ensure projects meet their key milestones and provide fit for purpose homes to people with high needs disability.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential
- Excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with key stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
- Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Project.
- Experience contributing to budget development and asset management processes highly regarded.
- High level of personal motivation and initiative.
- Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
- A capacity to work with members of the A2P team, clients, staff and volunteers with warmth and empathy to project the values of A2P in all that they do.
- Previous experience in asset management support or property development highly regarded.
Desirable
- Experience working in the disability and/or community housing sector.
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
- Experience using Chintaro is highly regarded.
- Experience using Property Inspection Manager is highly regarded.
