Your new role
Due to growth and project success, opportunities have arisen for experienced Civil Supervisors to join their Urban Development team to oversee new and ongoing subdivision projects.You will be overseeing all daily project requirements, including day to day operations and managing direct, indirect and subcontractors.
Additionally, you will :-
- Lead all on-site operations in a fast-paced and busy project environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction teams, including effective timing of daily site work and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, oversee budgets as needed & report writing
- Effectively liaise with team and project stakeholders and provide direction and advice to project staff
- Resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to the below, our client is looking for candidates with a "can-do" attitude and is looking to join an organisation where they can further grow and develop their career, whilst sinking their teeth into a variety of project types.
- Proven background in site-based leadership or similar role within the Civil Construction industry.
- Previous experience in subdivision projects or local government projects, including site and project management experience.
- Proven track record of managing subdivision, urban or infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with a keen interest in leading and mentoring others.
- An ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a high-volume work environment
- Understanding of regulatory, governance and community requirements
