Due to the successful tender of several projects and organic team growth, our client is seeking experienced 12D Civil Engineers to join their Perth team.
There are several teams currently recruiting for a range of projects including but not limited to, Roads and Highways, Earthworks, Rare Earth, and Energy.
You will play a key role in the design and delivery of commercial and urban projects throughout WA and Australia.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the lead civil engineer, you will support a team of civil engineers and designers to meet our clients' requirements, its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Such day-to-day tasks include:
- Scope management
- Promotion of workshare between various offices
- Cross disciplinary coordination to ensure successful delivery of Customer’s requirements
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between client and its customer's requirements
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in civil engineering
- Support effective communication with the civil engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
- General mining support and infrastructure development
What you’ll have:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or relevant undergraduate degree.
- Design Packaging and Calculation experience, ideally using 12D
- Proven commercial Civil design and engineering experience, ideally from an EPCM/Consultancy environment
- Experience with brownfield projects preferred
- Experience in Resource Sector will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in UK environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be highly driven with a focus on delivery and service.
