Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with external service providers to obtain any outstanding information as requested by the Claims Assessor
- Processing claim payments. ensuring calculations & payment letters are correct
- Supporting the processing of direct in-house funeral bordereaux and other direct claims as required
- Reviewing claim information and interpreting policy to determine claim eligibility within delegated authority
- Being attentive to identifying risks of fraud, potential regulatory breaches, process gaps and contributing to process improvement opportunities
Skills and Expereience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- 2 + years of claims administration exposure (preferably group claims) in the life insurance industry
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
