Claims Administrator

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic talent from the life insurance space to join a leading reinsurance company and begin their journey in the reinsurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with external service providers to obtain any outstanding information as requested by the Claims Assessor
• Processing claim payments. ensuring calculations & payment letters are correct
• Supporting the processing of direct in-house funeral bordereaux and other direct claims as required
• Reviewing claim information and interpreting policy to determine claim eligibility within delegated authority
• Being attentive to identifying risks of fraud, potential regulatory breaches, process gaps and contributing to process improvement opportunities

Skills and Expereience

• Intermediate Excel skills
• 2 + years of claims administration exposure (preferably group claims) in the life insurance industry
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
