CLAIMS CLERKS, NURSES & ADMIN STAFF – SPRINGFIELD CENTRAL, QLD

Australia Veteran Health Services looking for experienced CLAIMS CLERKS, nurses and administration staff to join their new practice in Springfield Central.

Selection Criteria

• Previous ADF experience  (3 years at least)
• Understanding of private billing as well as Workcover , MBS and DVA
• Understanding or experience with patients suffering from mental illness including PTSD
• Knowledge of the Privacy Act and how it affects patient queries
• An empathetic nature, and awareness of patient needs
• Ability to work in a team and be proactive
• Understanding or willing to learn AGPAL / RACGP accreditation standards
• Ability to assess patient health records and the various stages of health assessments pre and post discharge
• Knowledge of recalls and reminders using Automed
• Knowledge and use of on line appointments
• Excellent understanding of Best Practice and associated software
• Current CPR certification
• Must be very professional dealing with patients and doctors.
• Able to deal with stressful situations. Mature communication style
• Maybe required to travel

The Practice offers:

We are located in Springfield Centre QLD  with available side street parking and close to public transport for convenience.

There are multiple positions for casual, part-time and full-time roles. Practice opening early August 2021.
