As Member Services Consultant you will be part of a dynamic team environment, with an organisation that is Queensland based with 250,000 members. To build on their value of trust and partnership to ensure you are delivering outstanding results to their members.
The role
- Your prime duty will be to handle general enquiries and manage the claim process for their members – associated with death, disability and permanent impairment
- To receive and handle inbound and outbound calls related to claims
- Be able to locate, confirm all documentation from multiple files
- Be a strong empathetic communicator
- Support all the claimants via phone, email and mail communication
- Claims experience in either Insurance or Superannuation
- Ideally a strong understanding of superannuation and retirement products
- RG 146 or DFP 1-4 will be considered an advantage, however, will train
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workflow and multi task
- Background gained within financial services
- Strong customer service focus
