About the opportunity
You will be joining a collaborative legal team whilst individually proactively managing a blended and complex portfolio of public liability customer claims to effective and sustainable outcomes.
What you'll do
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an ongoing portfolio of claims with a focus on delivering proactive and sustainable outcomes
- Adopting a service-oriented approach that is focused on early intervention and the interests of all stakeholders
- Analysing liability and quantum, and resolving claims within the approved delegation of authority in a timely and cost-effective manner
What you'll bring
Ideally you will have a legal background or have previous end-to-end public liability claims experience assessing liability and quantum. As well as the following:
- At least 2-3 years PQE in Personal Injury law
- Strong end-to-end public liability claims management experience of PIPA claims
- A solid understanding of PIPA claims and the ability to run a claim from start to finish including attendance at settlement conferences
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- The experience to manage your files autonomously with the support of your Group Team Manager
