This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Investigator to join our Claims Fraud Investigations team. As a valued member of the team you will be responsible for reducing our exposure to fraud and non-genuine claims across the personal risk portfolio which includes Compulsory Third Party, Workers Compensation and Liability investigations.

Your new role

• You will have responsibility for managing complex fraud claims as required. This role will support the Investigations Managers within the Investigations and Claims Support Team (ICST) deliver the internal investigative expertise to reduce QBE's exposure to fraud and other non-genuine claims across the statutory classes, motor and property portfolios.
• Analyse suspected fraudulent and other non-genuine claims across statutory classes, motor and property claims
• Develop investigative strategies including surveillance techniques and other appropriate strategies.
• Allocate and prioritise daily workloads for investigated claims.
• Managing the external investigation process associated with suspected non genuine claims
• Conducting desktop investigations on suspected non genuine claims in accordance with the GI Code of Practice and industry best practice
• Instructing and managing external investigative service providers to ensure effective cost efficient services are provided
• Preparation of clear and concise evidence matrix reports for claims to determine liability.
• Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve fraud analysis and procedures.

• You will have a number of years' experience in managing investigations in a corporate environment, preferably insurance/ financial services, however we are open to other industries as well. You will have experience in detecting fraud/using fraud indicators and demonstrate experience using fraud detection systems
• Extensive claims expertise and or dispute resolution experience in GI.
• Experience in CTP or Workers Compensation is highly desirable for this role
