The Role: 
We are looking for a Senior ClaimsManager/Specialist that will go above and beyond to seek additional information in order to validate events, whilst keeping the client at ease. A specialist not afraid to question Insurers or pick up the phone, all in order to represent our clients. A specialist who has passion to deliver the best outcomes for the clients. 

• Full time position, based in our Maroochydore Office with onsite parking provided; 
• Managing a portfolio of complex claims  using your expertise to negotiate a positive outcome for all parties;
• Developing and maintaining relationships with insurers, clients, and suppliers;
• Assisting Management in relation to claims compliance/audits;
• Provide recommendations where appropriate to benefit the Insured;
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and represent the customer across the insurance claim from start to finish; 
• Have the Insured's best interest at heart;
• Collaboration with stakeholders (internally and externally);

What you will need 

• Minimum of 5 years claims experience including complex claims (ideally property, casualty, fleet, and financial lines);  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Comfortable in getting in front of insurers and clients;
• High attention to detail; 
• Ability to negotiate and debate with the insurers when required;
• Ideally, strong existing relationships with major insurers;
• Strategic thinking and approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. 
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of claims specialists. 
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.  
• Excellent time management; 
• A passion to help people;
• Client focus (we represent the client not the insurer); 
• High level problem solving skills and negotiations; 
• A growth mindset and internal motivation to be your best;
• Strong sense of accountability;
• Administration experience;
• Preferably experienced with Insight and Office Tech, but not essential; 
• Great team player;
