Summary
As Claims Specialist for Hutch, you’ll leverage our advanced technology to offer market leading claims service levels to our brokers and clients.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Claims, you’ll have responsibility for handing strata and other insurance claims from lodgement through assessment to payment including:
- Acknowledgement of FNOL
- Desktop adjustment of smaller claims
- Processing claims within SLA timeframes
- Deliver extraordinary levels of service that delight our brokers & their clients
- Work with management and underwriters to feedback on claims trends
This is a full-time position.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 3 years’ experience managing a mixed complex portfolio.
Tertiary qualification is preferred.
Your main specialty is property claims, but ideally you would have some experience in construction claims and long tail classes such as liability and financial lines.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Capable of effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders across various levels of sophistication.
Proficient in operating within a dynamic environment and adeptly managing multiple concurrent tasks.
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
