About the Role
St Clare of Assisi Primary School is currently seeking to appoint a multiple enthusiastic Classroom Teachers who are driven to join a team of innovative professionals who will nurture each child’s talents and gifts through the dynamic and stimulating curriculum and opportunities that we offer. The Classroom Teacher is responsible for fostering academic excellence, creating a dynamic learning environment and growing each child to be engaged, focused and an independent learner whilst providing the highest level of pastoral care.
Essential Criteria
Suitable applicants will demonstrate:
- A sound understanding of and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education and the capacity to contribute to the spiritual and community life of the school.
- A thorough knowledge of the Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and learning.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills so as to engage positively with colleagues, students and parents.
- The capacity to be a proactive member of a professional learning community complying with the legal, administrative and professional requirements.
- Classroom practices and organisational skills that create supportive and safe environments for all students, including meeting a variety of learning needs.
- A comprehensive understanding of assessment and reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to parents and students.
- Knowledge of St Clare of Assisi’s vision for learning; inclusive of our Catalyst learning approach.
