We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Cleaning Manager to provide effective leadership and management of cleaning services across Australia. The initial focus of this role will be to ensure a successful transition of cleaning services, involving planning, recruiting, onboarding, and training to ensure a seamless and successful transition.
* Full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week
* Location options: Melbourne or Brisbane
* Travel will be a necessary component of the role
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all nominated spaces are consistently cleaned to a high standard across the country.
- Oversee staff management, rosters, delivery, and performance of cleaning teams in collaboration with State Cleaning Coordinators.
- Act as a subject matter expert, prioritizing innovation, best practices, and sustainability.
- Uphold staff well-being, safe work methods, quality assurance, and compliance as standard practices.
- Maintain a high level of engagement and proactive communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience in large-scale cleaning contract management, including staff management.
- Proven experience in conducting quality audits and inspections.
- Understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation.
- Strong IT skills and software experience.
- Experience in property management or facility management industries desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, engagement, and interpersonal skills.
