Form of workCleaning Supervisor Your new company Hays Recruitment Townsville is working with a well-known Australian-owned Organisation, to assist them in finding a professional and experienced Cleaning Supervisor. Your new role This is a permanent part-time position, and you will be expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week at various facilities in North Queensland. Predominantly based in Townsville, your new role will include the organising and rostering of cleaning staff for various events, the general cleaning and maintenance of all required sites, ensuring that all staff comply with company standards regarding cleaning and Health & Safety, assigning tasks and to train all cleaning staff and finally being able to handle and respond to issues and queries professionally and effectively. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this position, you will need to possess the following:
A good eye for detail
Previous experience in Cleaning and Housekeeping
Be available to work the occasional weekend when required
A dynamic and professional approach
Supervisor/ Leading Hand experience
Rostering experience
An in-depth knowledge of the safe use and storage of chemicals
Previous experience in cleaning large event venues is highly desirable
