Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a permanent full time Cleaning Supervisor who’s skilled at building relationships and has a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
About us
Collective Maintenance Services (CMS) is an Australia wide, cleaning and maintenance business, that is 100% customer and team focused. We look after, respect, and support, our cleaning teams and customers.
We're not your average cleaning and maintenance crew. We're a team that believes the result is what truly matters, and that's why we're looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering the best customer service every time.
Our customers are diverse, and include strata managed residential buildings, retail stores, schools, and childcare centres.
What You'll Do
- Every day is an adventure - no two days are the same. You'll be handling a variety of tasks from auditing sites, to onboarding new customers and training our teams, while cleaning alongside them.
- Your ability to deal with rapidly changing demands and priorities will save the day.
- You'll be on the road, driving to various customer sites mainly in Nundah, Chermside, and the greater Brisbane area, with occasional visits to the Sunshine and Gold Coasts
- You’ll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional after hours and weekend work.
- You’ll work under the guidance and support of our QLD Regional Manager and alongside our close-knit Queensland and National teams.
About you
We're not just looking for a supervisor; we're looking for someone special. To succeed in this role, here are some of the important attributes.
- Supervisory experience.
- Experience in the cleaning industry would be great, but not essential. It’s excellent customer service and relationship building skills that are most important for us.
- Physically fit with a range of movement to meet the physical demands of the role - after all, cleaning can be a workout!
- Maintain high standards, pay attention to the smallest details, and take pride in your work.
- The ability to learn, adapt, and listen actively to your team and clients.
- Remain composed and resilient in the face of changing priorities and high customer expectations.
- Possess excellent customer service and leadership skills, knowing that it's not just what you communicate but how you do it.
- Be able to effectively communicate in English (verbal & written).
Licences and checks required
- We have a range of customers that require police checks and a Blue card (working with children check) so your ability to obtain these is essential.
- Australian drivers licence.
Why You Should Join Us
Aside from being part of a team that truly cares about their work and their people, you'll also enjoy a supportive environment where your contributions are valued.
We're all about long-term relationships, and that includes our team members. If you're great with customers, ready to roll up your sleeves, and eager to make spaces shine, we want you with us.
