As a member of the GJK Facility Services team, you will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and friendly group of professionals who take pride in their work.
We are currently seeking applications from people interested in full time (Mon-Fri) cleaning work based at one of our high profile contracts situated in the suburb of Clayton.
The Position:
- Permanent full-time Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm.
- Oversee and train cleaning staff
- Schedule cleaning staff and assign tasks
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to company standards
- Ensure that cleaning equipment is maintained and in good working condition
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Handle and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are being met
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Remuneration is Level 3 + Leading Hand Allowance
Minimum Criteria:
- Experience in cleaning operations; commercial or industrial (desired) but not essential
- Current Police Clearance no older than 6 months or willing to obtain
- WWCC - Working with Children Card
- Self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job
- Professional presentation and customer service
- Own and maintain a smart phone (to access work apps)
