About us:

We are seeking a talented Financial Controller to join the Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) team. Reporting to our General Manager Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing key financial and operational aspects of our company, helping to ensure that our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will have the interesting yet challenging opportunity to work across different functions of the company in a fast paced and supportive environment.

About the Role:

• Oversee and facilitate the financial, management accounting and revenue teams’ day to day operations;
• Execute, drive and contribute to month end and year end reporting processes;
• Preparation, review and detailed analysis of month end reports for divisions;
• Provide recommendations to senior management for decision making;
• Identify and implement process and system improvements;
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and auditing and accounting standards; and
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members;

About You:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting and auditing standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong systems knowledge, with experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a preference;
• Have a strong work ethic, an ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise your workload;
• Driven to collaborate with a highly talented team;
• Be highly energetic and have a passion for sport, the industry, and our content;
• A positive can-do attitude with a continuous improvement outlook, seeking and sourcing ways to improve efficiencies and processes; and
• Ability to develop and foster strong relationships with stakeholders and a dedication to providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.
