ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent role, DIDO from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities.
As the Clearance to Work Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and standard approach for the implementation of CTW and Isolation across the Refinery.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Administer and provide governance to all aspects of the CTW process
- Liaise with area execution personnel to optimise scopes of work and align Clearances to daily activities.
- Liaise with Production and Maintenance Work Groups to ensure Permit(s) are issued correctly as per the Scope of Work.
- Ensure all clearances are issued as per the Clearance to Work Procedure as a critical control for managing fatal risk work
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Considered highly proficient in the entire Clearance to Work process
- Worked as a Facility Operator in all area facilities and is considered the area subject matter expert in Area Processes
- Successfully completed numerous Lockbox Permits for the Area’s most complex isolations e.g. Digester or Calciner Outage Isolations;
Qualifications for this position are:
- Certificate III in Process Plant Operating (minimum)
- Holds all area specific Clearance to Work
- Highly competent and qualified as a: Isolation Officer Q50021969, Hot Work Officer Q50012037. Confined Space Officer Q50021971 and Clearance Officer Q50020889
