This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 30.40 hours per fortnight (0.4 FTE), with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated person to join our Neonatology Service.

As a Clerical Officer, you will be responsible for the provision of clerical support to the Neonatal Database Program and Follow up Program.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with the Clinical Nurse Database regarding new neonatal admissions, transfers and discharges.
  • Maintain appropriate infant information on the Neonatal Database for all admissions to the Neonatal Unit.
  • Ensure accurate and complete data is entered on the Neonatal Database.
  • Provide general clerical support, typing, filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing and other duties as required for the Neonatal Follow-Up Programs.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely information or documentation is conveyed to medical and nursing staff managing the neonatal databases.
  • Provide a data processing service and support as required by Clinical Nurse.
