Your new company
This company is a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The role is within the Wealth Management business, which services individuals, families and institutions investing in both domestic and international markets.
Your new role
A key function of the Client Service Manager's (CSM) role is the ability to deal confidently with Financial Advisors and their clients in a high-volume, time critical environment. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of the financial advice process, financial markets and product and industry trends. You will need to have a high attention to detail and should be able to prioritise your work accordingly and work well under pressure. The roles are at junior level and ideal candidates should be someone who has more Client Service/Admin experience.
- Facilitation of all administrative client queries and prioritise competing adviser requests in a fast-paced environment
- Client on-boarding, including preparation of account documentation, creation of client records in systems.
- Arrange and assist with maintenance of client accounts and records, in line with current AML/CTF, KYC Regulations
- IPO and corporate action allocation management and preparation of client valuations, asset allocations and reporting as required
- Process and monitor stock settlements, including following up with clients regarding outstanding funds.
- Participate in process development initiatives to increase efficiencies
- Proactively notify client/s and FA/s of any issues recommending a solution and timeframe
- Understand US and UK tax forms including W8BEN and CRS and Opt In, FDS and Client Consent forms
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Commerce, Law, Accounting or similar
- RG146 - if not held already a requirement to study towards
- Experience within wealth management or financial planning is highly desirable
- Display a high level of resilience and a strong ability to prioritise tasks
- Strong communication skills to effectively deal with stakeholders
