Working as part of a passionate and technically skilled team a new position has been created for an experienced Client Services Officer / Paraplanner who is keen to be a part of a fun and successful team.
This position will provide administrative support to a Financial Planner and Insurance Adviser assisting with the preparation of documentation for client meetings, assisting clients with their inquiries, completing file notes, advice implementation and Paraplanning. This position will have regular contact with clients to support their requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the research of Investments and Insurance product for advice development.
- Obtain Insurance quotes, liaise with product providers.
- Development and formulation of the SoA and RoA document.
- Complete SoA document for Insurance requirements.
- Review advice documents prior to being presented to the client.
- Completing analysis for clients' best interest.
- Complete regular reporting and generate statements or clients.
- Assist in the completion of Paraplanning responsibilities and documentation.
- Ensuring all client data is accurately recorded and maintained on file.
To be successful in securing this position, we are seeking the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated work experience within a Financial Planning or Risk Insurance environment.
- Knowledge of the financial planning process and legislative requirements.
- Enjoy working as part of a team achieving team objectives
- Competent in using Microsoft Office and ideally Xplan
- Great interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external clients
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to priorities work and manage own time.
- Ideally completing a relevant Tertiary qualification within Financial Planning or Finance related.
- Paraplanning experience highly regarded
