Duties
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Perform medical assessments and screenings for DFR Candidates
- Collaborate closely with the Practice Manager and other team members to ensure efficient operations and adherence to standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of medical assessments
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the screening process
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with candidates and all colleagues.
- Audiometry, Spirometry, ECG and similar testing
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a medical screening role is preferred but not essential, preferably within a defence or on-base setting, or in the delivery of pre-employment medicals
- Previous medical/clinical experience especially in phlebotomy will be highly regarded
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Current Working With Children Check
