Role PurposeThis role is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of telehealth and face to face clinics services. In addition, overseeing several local grants and collation of local data to meet contractual reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reception duties for onsite and telehealth diabetes clinics including but not limited to:
- Medical referral management
- Managing patient appointments book
- Financial management – Medicare claiming, and collection of fee for service and receipt management.
- Medical practice liaison.
- Administrative support for health professionals delivering clinic services.
- Data collation to meet reporting requirements.
- Support the successful growth of the clinics.
2. Promote and sell Club Lime vouchers.
3. Support the successful delivery of the ACT Diabetes awareness grant by collating relevant data, preparing regular reports and participating in event coordination as requested. Efficient and effective management of the ACT office such as staffing reception when required, ordering stock, opening mail, , and answering emails that are sent to the ACT inboxes.
4. Provide general support to projects/programs/general needs within NSW & ACT to support successful outcomes and project deliverables being achieved.
5. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships within the department and throughout the organisation.
Requirements:
- Office administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clinic coordination – booking coordination, administrative support, medical practice liaison
- Experience in medical software including Best Practice.
- Ability to work within a digital environment (Office 365, Best Practice, SharePoint and other local platforms).
- Excellent communication verbal and written.
- Commitment to team engagement and collaborative working style.
Additional Information:
- This position is based primarily at the Canberra Office.
- Some after hours work may be required.
