SalaryA great position has become available for an experienced, enthusiastic beauty care professional in the Melbourne CBD. The successful candidate will manage a team of around 20 beauty therapists, who deliver services including laser hair removal, a range of skin treatments, Coolsculpting and injectables, across our two Melbourne CBD clinics.
The job description entails a nice blend of general administration, treatment, team leadership, training and staff development.
The environment is safe and positive, warm and friendly. You will be fully supported by the clinic owners while also being provided with the autonomy you need to develop a satisfying career within the beauty industry.
The position is full-time, Mon-Fri, standard business hours.
THE ROLE:
- Plan and drive operational and retail excellence
- Recruit, induct and train new staff
- Coach, support and mentor your team
- Review performance data (financial, sales, and activity levels)
- Promote marketing campaigns
- Skin, LED, laser and Skinstitut expert
- Upskilling team in specialist product knowledge
- Rostering, reporting and day-to-day management of the clinic
- Ideally 1-2 years of minimum experience in team leadership
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy
- Business Qualifications desirable
- Previous experience in the beauty/ aesthetics industry
- Superior customer service and focus on achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive a positive team culture
- High computer literacy
