We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to manage our two clinics and lead our award-winning team.
Massage by the Sea is a remedial massage and infrared sauna clinic, established 25 years, and with two locations in Sydney's beautiful Eastern Suburbs. We specialise in remedial massage and provide a range of other massage modalities, infrared saunas and our unique outdoor massage by the sea!
We are looking for a friendly, positive person to head the reception team and manage our indoor and outdoor clinics. The role also includes reception and some house-keeping duties and would suit somebody who enjoys working in a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front reception desk
- Coordinate all other clinic operations
- Lead the reception team and manage the 7 day reception roster
- Assist and participate in recruitment as required
- Practitioner support and management of their schedules
- Maintain practice policies
- Order products and supplies and stock-take
- Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the clinic
- Communicate effectively with clients, therapists and other key people
- Taking payments via HICAPS, EFTPOS, cash and online
- Create social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Constant Contact)
- Help us to take our business to the next level with excellent customer service, marketing and systems efficiency.
Skills and requirements:
- Experience with and/or education in health business administration.
- Proven success in the areas of recruitment, team management and leadership.
- A genuine interest in Natural Health and working in the Natural Health Industry.
- Enjoy working with people and helping them to achieve greater health and wellbeing.
- Be able to demonstrate strong customer service skill set
- Excellent communication skills
- Show initiative
- Able to plan your day unsupervised
- Open to feedback
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of client management programs or able to learn
- Strong time management skills
- Australian drivers licence and car
- As the first point of contact for our clients, the successful applicant will have excellent presentation and professional manners
Role:
- Full time position, 38 hours
- We are a 7-day practice. The hours are somewhat negotiable and may include weekend days initially. As the reception roster manager, the opportunity exists to be flexible and move towards your ideal working week.
