The Clinical Manager works closely with the Facility Manager – Clinical to ensure the delivery of high-quality Clinical Care to residents, implementation of best practices, and achievement of optimal resident outcomes. They provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to clinical staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in the aged care setting.

What you'll be doing
St Andrew's invites applications from Care Managers and Registered Nurses with Care Manager experience to work in the Residential Care Facility located in beautiful Byron Bay by the sea in The Northern Rivers NSW.
Working with our Clinical Facility Manager (based in Ballina) to deliver quality services and support to St Andrew’s residents. You’ll be supervising Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Service Employees in their delivery of personal care to residents.
What skills & attributes will I need?
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience as a Care Manager an advantage
- Excellent care planning and documentation skills
- Conversant with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
- Responsible for medication management and regular medication audits
- Ability to coordinate a senior clinical team and responsible for clinical governance and audit within the facility
- Principal liaison with medical professionals
- A passion for working in Aged Care and a sound understanding of the sector
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and relate to people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures
- Knowledge of electronic care management systems will be an advantage
- Evidence of 2 x vaccinations for COVID-19
- A current National Police Certificate (this is obtained by St Andrews).
