About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Coordinator within the Child Protection Service.
You will be assisting with the coordination of specialist forensic and clinical/psychosocial assessment and therapy services for children and families referred to Child Protection Services where child abuse and neglect is identified by the Department for Child Protection and/or South Australian Police.
In consultation with the Director, management team and the Child Protection Service clinical team, the coordinator also assists in the management of the evolution and development of new program initiatives, the Unit’s teaching responsibilities and its clinical liaison with appropriate agencies.
As a highly skilled and competent clinician, the incumbent delivers quality services and provides clinical leadership within the services, providing support and supervision to less experienced staff.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold either:
- An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers OR;
- Must hold an appropriate degree (Master Degree in Clinical or Applied Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA. Must hold general registration with the PsyBA, and be endorsed in Clinical Psychology are of practice. Must hold approved supervisor status with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
