Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, with sites at Wonthaggi, Cowes, San Remo.
In order to support our rapidly growing population, we're growing our services and the complexity of our organisation. This included adding a new $115 million hospital expansion, a expansion to the Phillip Island hospital and renovated facilities to ensure we meet the increasing health care needs of our region.
Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Learning & Development Team providing clinical support with the Emergency and Surigical services portfolios. These positions may be required to work accross both the Wonthaggi and Cowes sites of Bass Coast Health. The roles will be responsible for providing clinical support to students, graduates and pathway programs along with the upskilling of staff aligning with service developments, working in collaboration with Clinical Nurse Educators, the L&D team and Nurse Unit Managers.
Position Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Well-developed clinical skills
- Extensive nursing experience
- Keen interest in learning and development
- Postgraduate nursing qualifications and experience highly desirable
- Education qualifications and experience ideal
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work within a progressive and dynamic team
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the Chief Health officer COVID-19 Mandatory vaccination Directions
- Flu Vaccination
