Job Description:Excellent benefits including salary packagingChallenging and rewarding work environmentPermanent, Part Time, (16 hours per week)About the RoleThe Practice Development Nurse – Cardiac is responsible for supporting the professional development of all permanent and program staff across our cardiac settings, including the Cardiac Investigation Unit. Their primary role it to ensure best practice by providing ongoing education and support for all staff with particular focus on the advancement of knowledge, skills and training with relevance to the cardiac setting. This will be achieved by implementing clinically based education using the principles of Evidenced Based Practice to improve the delivery of nursing care. Furthermore, they will be responsible for their own professional development in order to maintain expert clinical skills and advanced knowledge.Classifications for this position will be YZ7 ($113,646.00 per annum pro rata)Your Contribution Registered in Division 1 with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board and current Practicing CertificateBachelor/Master’s Degree in Nursing (Entry to Practice)A current Victorian Driver’s LicencePostgraduate Qualifications in relevant nursing speciality (e.g. Cardiac or Critical Care preferably a Masters in Advanced Nursing or working towards).Postgraduate qualification in Education, Clinical Supervision or similar (or working towards).Experience in development, delivery and coordination of Nursing Education Programs.Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in a cardiac setting.Recent clinical experience in Cardiac Investigation UnitExperience in clinical teaching and/or clinical supervision.What we OfferSalary Packaging – Increase your take home pay!Employee Assistance ProgramAbility to join Fitness Passport - Your pass to an extensive choice of fitness facilitiesCBD Location, close to Public Transport and close to lots of car parks…
