The role will be on an 8/6 or 7/7 roster, with ongoing roster availability and multiple opportunities.

Your role:
- Provide acute primary care, resuscitation and stabilisation, and the assessment and management of occupational injury or illness.
- Assist with return to work related and non-work-related injuries and illness.
- Assist with medevac requirements of injured or ill personnel as required.
- Provide health awareness & prevention programs (i.e., blood pressure checks, blood glucose levels).
- Facilitate the delivery of health-related assessment and monitoring activities, including, but not limited to; drug and alcohol testing and other health surveillance.
- Maintain medical facility (accountability for equipment and medicines/consumables stock).
- Deliver accredited and non-accredited health related training programs.
- Provide delivery of emergency response capabilities on site.
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration - Paramedic or Nurse.
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (including vertical rescue and confined space rescue).
- Current HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing.
- HR class driver's license – manual - unencumbered.
- Four-wheel driver training (desirable).
- Drive under operational condition (PUAVEH001) (desirable).
- National police clearance - within 3 months.
As per requirements for AHPRA registration, only candidates with this registration will be considered.
