Are you a dedicated and compassionate Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO), looking for an exciting opportunity? Join our team as a FIFO MESO and make a difference in the lives of others in remote locations. We are seeking experienced MESO to provide medical & emergency support in challenging environments.
The Role
You will be part of our client's site emergency response and provide medical treatment services to employees on site. Candidates will respond to all emergency and non-emergency patient situations and callouts to provide timely and effective patient care.
Full Time & Casual roles available on an 2:2 roster
Qualifications and Requirements
• Cert IV Healthcare (Ambulance) or higher
• Cert III in Mines Emergency Response & Rescue (RII30715)
• Certificate to Collect Specimens for Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005)
• Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers’ licence to operate site fire appliances.
• Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate (HLTAID011)
• Operate and maintain 4WD
• Physically fit to perform the role
• National Police Clearance certificate (current to within 6 months of appointment)
Some clients may also require:
• Undertake confined space rescue (PUASAR025)
• Undertake vertical rescue (PUASAR032)
• Drive Vehicle Under Operational Conditions (PUAVEH001)
About You
• Provide high level emergency rescue services
• Provide timely emergency and non-emergency patient response
• Adhere to medical protocols and procedures as well as legislative requirements
• Actively support the team in daily duties
• Highly organised with an ability to work independently
• Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing and maintain records
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
