About the role:
Pop-Up Health is seeking experienced Clinical Facilitators (multiple positions) who are passionate about community nursing and the education experience to join our existing team.
As the ultimate professional role model, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring nursing students during their placements with Pop-Up Health. Your role is to develop the knowledge, workforce readiness, and professional skills of these student nurses in our dynamic and progressive clinical environment. But don't worry, it's not all seriousness and scrubs - we want you to have fun too! Maintaining positive relationships, enhancing the students' learning experience, contributing to the team environment, and having a laugh is just as important.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Providing supervision, feedback, and support to talented nursing students during their clinical placements with Pop-Up Health.
- You'll help our students identify exciting learning opportunities that suit their level of training.
- We'll need you to apply your incredible community nursing skills and the knowledge you've gained from your training to teach the next generation of nurses.
- You’ll need to think on your feet, be adaptive and responsive- we’re a fast-paced working environment!
- We'll also need you to communicate professionally and confidently with our clients, students, university personnel and colleagues.
The ideal candidate:
To be successful in the role you will have prior experience as a Registered Nurse within the community sector. You will also bring with you:
- A Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
- National Police Clearance, Working with Children and NDIS clearances.
- Current First Aid, Manual Handling, and CPR certificates.
- Proof of mandatory vaccinations (including COVID and flu).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge.
- A team player mentality.
