About Us:

Allambee is a leading provider of specialist sexual violence therapeutic services with over 30 years’ experience supporting individuals, children, young people, and families impacted by sexual abuse/assault. Our trauma specialised services are strengths-based, client-centred and guided by evidence-based theoretical frameworks and interventions. 

About the Role:

We currently have position for a Clinical Lead in our new specialist therapeutic service supporting young people with harmful sexual behaviours. This role will carry a caseload working directly with young people with harmful sexual behaviours and their caregivers as well as supporting the clinical team and leading evidenced-based clinical practice across the service. 

As the Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding clinical practice in this unique new service. The role is diverse in that it involves assessments and specialist therapeutic interventions with young people and their caregivers as well as collaborative and multiagency working to sustain and support interventions. Additionally, you will provide Clinical Leadership, aiding in the development and implementation of therapeutic support for young people and their caregivers engaged in the harmful sexual behaviours program. Part-time or full-time options will be considered for the right candidate.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people and families. The successful candidate will bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline with specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the role. A postgraduate qualification is highly desirable. 
• Eligibility for membership in the relevant professional association.
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in successfully leading and providing direct service in clinical assessment and therapeutic interventions for children, young people, and families.
• Advanced knowledge of theoretical frameworks and interventions relevant to this role. 
• A deep understanding of the challenges that influence the lives of both families and young people and the capacity to thrive in a challenging and complex practice environment.
• Exceptional skills in providing supervision, Clinical Leadership, and secondary consultation. 
• A demonstrated commitment to collaborative working and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across multidisciplinary teams and with caregivers, government, and non-government agencies. 

The successful candidate must have current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check (or equivalent), and a current WA Driver’s Licence (or equivalent).
