Our CORE Values are Visit our to see our people and location in action and follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay up to date @IllaShoalHealth.What you'll be doingThe Clinical Midwifery Educator role will provide for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of Clinical Midwifery education (including programs) at the ward/ unit level. Such education may include orientation and/ or transitioning for new midwifery staff and casual midwives as well as meeting the ongoing educational needs of existing midwifery staff and supporting the clinical placement of students.The Clinical Midwifery Educator will work in collaboration with the Midwifery Unit Manager/ Midwifery Manager and wider hospital team to develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programs relevant to the specialty, provide clinical supervision at point of care and an ongoing focus on quality and safety.What we can offer youThe Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD) provides you with an excellent career choice with many rewarding experiences.   • Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching in the health care environment utilising adult learning principles.
  • Demonstrated experience as a clinical facilitator at point of care and preceptor.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and safety frameworks.
