Clinical Neuropsychologist (Grade 2) or Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist (Grade 3)

About the Role:
This is an ongoing, part-time (0.5EFT) position for a Clinical Neuropsychologist or Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist within the Travancore Community Mental Health Team.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality neuropsychology-specific assessment of children and young people who are consumers of a tertiary-level Infant, Child and Family Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. You will also provide a neuropsychology-specific perspective to inform the development of effective care plans for intervention and management of children and young people within a multidisciplinary team. For the role of Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will also be responsible for high-quality clinical supervision to other Clinical Neuropsychologists and students, and work closely with the Team Coordinator and Discipline Senior.

Grade 3 Psychologist (PL1 - PL4)
Your Skills and Experience
Essential:
Clinical Neuropsychologist
- Completed an accredited Master or Doctoral program in Clinical Neuropsychology, recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Hold general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Board)
- Hold an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Experience in clinical practice in the area of paediatric clinical neuropsychology
- Ability to function independently as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and to provide a range of Clinical Neuropsychology services.
Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist
- Hold Board-approved supervisor status, including Board-approval as a ‘Registrar Program Principal Supervisor'
- Demonstrated ability to supervise clinical staff and post-graduate students
- Have a minimum of five years professional experience as a Psychologist Grade 2 (or equivalent)
Desirable:
- Experience in assessment of children with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and/or community mental health settings
About the Department:
RCH Mental Health is a Level 5 tertiary Infant, Child and Family Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service and comprises community and hospital-based services. This includes three multidisciplinary community teams which are based in Travancore, St Albans and Hoppers Crossing. This position will be primarily based at Travancore however you may be required to work across sites should the needs of the service require this.
Our Community Mental Health Programs are undergoing an exciting transformation and expansion as we implement the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System. The transformation will allow the RCH Mental Health Service to help more infants, children, and their families, and implement contemporary models of care that best meet the needs of the families we serve and support them to use their collective strengths for recovery and hope. As part of this transformation, there will be opportunities for further training, supervision, and development.
