The Clinical Nurse is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care and leadership, management, education and or research. The Clinical Nurse assumes responsibility for professional leadership on the ward, service or unit and applies critical thinking across all the domains.

With a 13 bed Multipurpose Health Service and Medical Centre, the team at Dirranbandi are passionate about their town and their community. There is a real sense of belonging here. Nursing, Medical, Operational and Administration staff all work together to make sure the community has a service it can be proud of and have faith in. Nursing in the rural clinical setting sees nurses expand their knowledge and skills and be ready to deliver care to a wide range of acute, chronic and emergency presentations.
