We are seeking Certified Emergency Nurses (ED RN) in Melbourne to take casual shifts in public and private hospitals. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional capable of providing quality healthcare services to patients within facilities while faithfully and consistently following health and safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform rapid and accurate assessments of incoming patients.
- Prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition using established triage protocols.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and implement treatment plans as ordered by physicians.
- Respond to medical emergencies such as cardiac arrests, strokes, respiratory distress, and trauma.
To be successful in the role, you will need:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Mandatory Post Grad qualification in Critical care or emergency.
- Valid Practical ALS.
- AHPRA Registration is mandatory.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Valid COVID-19 and flu vaccination
