Form of workAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join the Infection Control Team at the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. Your opportunity:
- The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of patient centred clinical practice specific to the Infection Control Services.
- The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing and/or midwifery services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $134,255 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.91 - $70.47 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Part Time, 64 hours p.f.)
