About the role
As a senior member of the IPAC team reporting to the Associate Program Director of Infection Prevention and Control and Infectious Diseases, this position has overall shared responsibility for the management of the Infection Prevention and Control team and service delivery across Eastern Health wide involving the coordination of patient and staff services whilst being cognisant of environmental factors that relate to Infection Prevention and Control practices and procedures. The position includes service at other Eastern Health sites at the direction of the Deputy Director Operations.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Minimum of five years’ experience working as a Grade 4 in Infection Prevention and Control
• Current nursing registration with AHPRA
• Post Graduate qualifications in Infection Prevention and Control
• Immunisation and Pre and Post counselling qualifications
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• A strong commitment to high quality care
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
