About The Role

The Clinical Nurse Educator plays a pivotal role in enhancing nursing staff competence through the delivery and evaluation of clinical education programs. They promote a culture of learning, providing both group and individual clinical education to meet team and individual learning needs. Additionally, they offer clinical leadership, including preceptorship and mentorship, collaborating with staff and managers to identify learning needs and contribute to the development and review of procedures and guidelines. They practice in accordance with nursing standards and comply with all relevant policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to the organization's vision and values.

About You

  • Holds current registration with the Australian Health Practioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse Division 1 and current drivers licence
  • Recent Cardiology/Critical care experience at an advanced practitioner level.
  • Relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or equivalent education and clinical experience.
