Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is the largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne, located in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga. The Opportunity
We require an experienced registered nurse with a strong interest and work history in the perioperative PACU (recovery room) area to join the clinical perioperative education team. The successful candidate will work in a small team with 2 other educators and support both Albury and Wodonga PACU and day surgery staff. The clinical educator faciliates learning and professional development to all staff but predominantly their supervisory responsibilities will be undergraduate nursing students, graduate nurses, transition to specialty nurses and staff understaking post graduate studies. The successful applicant will formulate and faciliate perioperative education with a focus on clinical deterioration and patient outcome KPI's . They will be required to work cross campus and will have specialty portfolios allocated to them. The position reports to the Operating Theatre NUM's and the Perioperative Services Manager. This is a permanent part time position - 3 days per week.
